Sony and Saina Win the Singles Title!

Singapore Open Super Series 2010 has been held at the Indoor Stadium in Singapore from June 15th to 20th.
In the men's singles final, the No.7 seed Sony Kuncoro (ARC-ZS) defeated Boonsak Ponsana by 21-16 and 21-16. This was Sony's first Super Series title this year. To win this title, Sony had to defeat the world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei in the quarter finals; the score was 7-21, 21-19 and 21-15. Now Sony is looking for another title in the next Super Series event, the Indonesia Open.
In the women's singles final, the No.1 seed Saina Nehwal (ARC7) defeated a 16 year old from Taipei, 21-18 and 21-15. Saina has won back to back titles after winning the India Open women's singles title.
In the women's doubles, the Singaporean pair, Yeo Lei (Nanospeed 9900) and Sari Shinta Mulia (ARC7) won the first title of the Super Series.
