YOUNG YONEX STARS DOMINATE PERTH SPRING SINGLES NATIONA

YONEX congratulates Belinda Woolcock and Blake Mott who both respectively won the U/14 Spring National Singles in Perth.
Woolcock won the Girls' 14/U national title with an emphatic 7-6(5) 3-6 6-1 victory over the No.1 seed, Kassandra Dunser, also a YONEX sponsored athlete.
"I was extremely excited to win and am very happy and grateful that the hard work in training has paid off," said Woolcock after the win.
Blake Mott (seeded 7th) came out firing in the final against Daniel Alameh (seeded 1st) from Perth. Mott simply out classed Alameh, quickly closing down any glimpse of opportunity for the WA star. Mott ' s execution on every point was impressive, and accompanied with a lethal forehand the youngster took the match easily 6-2 6-1.
Mott did not drop a set in the entire tournament, only conceding a total of 25 games.
